West Highland’s founder, Chuck Armstrong, has worked both as a principal and as an intermediary and has been integrally involved in various aspects of corporate development, investment banking, and brokerage services associated with over 50 consummated transactions valued at over $500 million. In addition, he provided business development and strategic advisory services on other transactions valued at over $700 million. He has worked with, and/or provided advisory services to, companies within the cable television, communications tower, electronic alarm, radio broadcast, renewable energy, waste-to-energy, specialty contracting, specialty finance, real estate, and other cash-flow-driven industries.

Experience includes identifying prospective transactions, coordinating due diligence (including business and market analysis), development of descriptive memoranda including financial pro-formas and structuring negotiating letters-of-intent and purchase-and-sale contracts, negotiating capital investment agreements (equity and debt), assimilating acquired businesses (technical, A/R, marketing), and settling “holdbacks” after closing.

Chuck earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
