Extensive experience, garnered as both a principal and an intermediary:

  • M&A services – buy-side and sell-side.  West Highland has identified transaction prospects, developed financial and operational analyses of prospective transactions, assisted in due diligence, developed descriptive memoranda, and negotiated letters-of-intent and purchase-and-sale contracts. Among the industries served include wireless communication towers, cable television, electronic alarm, and specialty contracting
  • M&A advisory services. West Highland served as interim CFO and provided financial advisory services to a sub-prime auto finance company on a proposed $35+ million acquisition of an industry competitor
  • During a three-year tenure at Masada Security, Inc., Chuck completed over $190 million in transactions (23 acquisitions and divestitures) and was instrumental in development of the largest privately held electronic security company in the U.S. at the time of its sale to Ameritech, a Regional Bell Operating Company. 
  • Chuck began his career working with a cable television multiple systems operator, Enstar Communications. Gross enterprise value of acquisitions and divestitures (13 transactions) in which Chuck either initiated or participated: $235 million.
